Thanksgiving is a Western holiday originally created by the American people. It originated when European religious migrants came to America and, to thank the Native Americans for their sincere help, invited them to celebrate together. On this day, people return home to reunite with their families, enjoy delicious food together, and give thanks to those who have helped them. So, in Minecraft, who should Steve be most thankful for on Thanksgiving?
Mobs

Although mobs often attack Steve, they also provide him with considerable help. In terms of materials, mobs bring Steve various resources. For example: Zombies give Steve rotten flesh, Witches give Steve potions, and Endermen give Steve the Ender Pearls that lead him to the End.

Besides materials, mobs also taught Steve valuable lessons. For instance, Piglins taught Steve the importance of unity and cooperation, and Skeletons taught Steve to seek shelter when faced with an unstoppable force (like how Skeletons hide from the sun during the day).
Animals

Animals also provide Steve with a lot of help. Without them, Steve’s adventure would be incredibly difficult. Without the wool produced by sheep, he couldn’t make a bed, meaning he wouldn’t be able to sleep through the night.

The milk produced by cows helps Steve clear negative status effects from his body, and the feathers dropped by chickens allow him to craft bows and arrows to fight terrifying mobs.
Villagers

Villagers also provide Steve with a lot of assistance. Besides trading with each other, they generously let Steve use the farmland in their village, and even let him use their beds and houses. You have to admit, villagers are really kind, so we must learn to be grateful.
Notch

Of course, the person Steve should be most thankful for is definitely Notch. He worked hard to create this vast blocky world, allowing Steve to live happily within it. Afraid that Steve might feel lonely, he also added all kinds of little creatures to accompany Steve in this world.
So on Thanksgiving Day, Steve should take the time to thank all those who have helped him.
